Just how seriously should we take the latest bank earnings?

148291868_2Marketplace Radio, a national business radio program, reached out to IU Communications for an expert who could comment about bank earnings reports, in light of Bank of America’s announcement on the morning of Jan. 15. Ken Carow, professor of finance and associate dean for Indianapolis research and programs at IU’s Kelley School of Business, was interviewed and was the first expert quoted in the segment, “Just how seriously should we take the latest bank earnings?” It was the first report on the program, which airs on more than 500 public radio stations nationwide across the United States and are heard by nearly 10 million weekly listeners.
